After figuring out the basics of "How to Contribute to OpenStack" the developer is often faced with a harsh reality. Things can take a long time! Specs and patches can continue for over 50 patch sets, spanning weeks and months. Deadlines due to milestones matter, and getting attention from Core (and non-core) reviewers can be challenging.
